With the return of the light official here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time to reveal the dragon stone! Perhaps in great timing with the dragon, Archetypal Stories now has voiceovers. I love reading aloud and hope you can connect with me on this substack even more!
Dragon, dear dragon,
At your shoulders is the Sun
May the fire from without
Match your fires from within
The Dragon, earthbound,
Spreads its wings for flight
With its fiery breath smoldering
What passion, purpose or gift will it set alight?
Dragons capture the fascination of imaginations from East to West. From what all perspectives can agree, dragons are powerful forces that embody the opposites (the earthbound snake, the skybound wings). The reflection of this card welcomes us to peer into what the “Year of the Dragon” means to us, and whenever it appears (April is also the month of the Dragon, signifying double dragon energy all month!)
