Launching a school year usually does swallow me up, but there are exciting new projects on the horizon! For my post this week, I would love to uplift the voices of two true-life heroine’s and their offerings to the world this month.
First, and most urgently, MAUI Wildlife Recovery. For years now, my friend and co-creator of the Archetypal Tarot Podcast, Julienne Givot, has been living in Maui and creating the most beautiful prayer beads I have ever seen. After she introduced me to The Way of the Rose I became, and still am, connected to the prayer tradition in my own way. In just one week, we will release our interview with author Perdita Finn! During the editing process for our upcoming episode, Julienne’s home island suffered immense devastation.
As you know, the fires tore through precious parts of Maui. Julienne has channeled her love and support for the island through these beautiful bead strands with 100% of profits supporting the Maui Wildfire Recovery. Secondly, many of you had the chance to meet Kate Farrell in my last surprise podcast. Now you can meet her in person! Kate is offering up-close-and-personal instruction on the Heroine’s Journey at the Mechanic’s Institute in San Francisco. With a deep exploration of the Greek myth Eros and Psyche through journaling, you can unpack the patterns of the Heroine’s Journey and see how the mythic elements show up in your life. Hope to see you there!
Greetings, Cyndera! What a lovely post this weekend with the prayer beads for Maui and the heroine workshop in San Francisco as well. So honored to be included.
